Jewdicial Activism
As the Senate inches toward a momentous procedural clash over judicial nominees, the religious rhetoric heats up. Abassassin
Despite testimony of abuse towards his staff, his comments about the irrelevancy of the United Nations and other such gaffes, John Bolton remains likely to be confirmed for ambassadorship to the United Nations, a nomination that startled both Congress and Embassy Row when the president announced it last month, but surprised few else. -- April 13, 2005

Terri Schiavo suffered brain damage in 1990 when her heart stopped briefly from a chemical imbalance believed to have been brought on by an eating disorder. As a society that executes children and people who are retarded we have to ask. What would Terri want? -- March 24, 2005
