Mandated Morality
In the short amount of time that President Bush has claimed a "mandate" to impose his will on Americans and the rest of the world, the Administration and Republican leadership have purged "wayward" agents at the CIA, snuck anti-abortion legislation into a spending bill and lowered the ethical bar on House leader Tom DeLay so that he can lead even if indicted. Expect Scott Petersen to be appointed head of Child Services once he is sentenced to death in California. -- November 2004

Aborters Wanted
Attorney General John Ashcroft insisted that doctor-patient privacy is not threatened by a government attempt to subpoena medical records in a lawsuit over the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act. At least six hospitals have been targeted by subpoenas, including facilities in New York and Michigan. Luckily the threat of terrorism has disappeared, the CIA has figured out how to improve their intelligence, and the idiot who leaked CIA operative Valerie Plame's name to Robert Novack has been punished. Anti-abortion extremist Clayton Waagner -- who is also one of the FBI's 10 Most Wanted --has allegedly threatened to kill 42 abortion clinic workers unless they notify him through the Internet that they have quit their jobs.
