The Gay Agenda
by CLINTON FEIN
How many of you haven’t heard of the “Gay Agenda” or “Radical Homosexual Agenda”?
Although many claim there isn't one, here it is, the new, improved radical, homosexual agenda for 2005. A roadmap, if you will, towards destroying nuclear families, and reshaping society to the point that if your son isn’t blowing his professor, don’t expect any graduation ceremonies.
For all the fear-mongering pigs that use religion to marginalize, humiliate, electrocute and murder others, may this new Gay Agenda permeate your worst nightmares. Yes, Focus on the Family, Traditional Values Coalition, Concerned Women for America, American Family Association, Family Research Council, Eagle Forum, Alliance Defense Fund, Chrisitian Coaltion, Morality in the Media and all you other assholes, this means you.
THE GAY AGENDA
So-called Christians, who would sooner stone Jesus to death than take heed of his caution, “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone,” use it as a scare tactic, and more importantly as a fundraising tool. The Orthodox Jews who would have been happy to let certain wings of German concentration camps housing victims sporting pink triangles continue gassing. Muslim extremists who stone homosexuals to death like they do their raped daughters, calling it “honor killing.”
A fusion of psycho-babble and political correctness on both sides has introduced terms like heternormalism, homodeviancy, and a slew of other ridiculous terms tossed about in frantic fundraising letters. Homosexuals are penetrating schools and the military and seek nothing less than the destruction of your family and rape of your children if one was to believe Pat Robertson, James Dobson, Lou Sheldon, Jerry Falwell, Donald Wildmon, Phyllis Schlafly, Beverly LaHaye, and the ever expanding pool of shrieking, self-appointed moral guardians.
If gay bashing, teen suicide and genuine attempts by politicians and Presidents to actually amend America’s constitution to explicitly deny rights to homosexuals weren’t clear and present dangers, the notion of a “gay agenda” would be laughable. How strong can a marriage be – a supposedly sanctified institution – if two members of the same sex marrying will destroy it? How learned can a behavior be, if despite your best parenting efforts to instill heterosexuality onto your children, they can be so easily evangelized by radical homosexuals.
Many gay people who simply want the right to serve their country, marry or work without fear of discrimination for being open about who they are have no agenda beyond that. A blogger calling himself angry biscuit sums it up this way: Homosexual Agenda: 1. Quality time w/family 2. Be treated equally 3. Buy milk
Despite the tongue-in-cheek nature of this piece, it can, and likely will, be taken out of context, and used destructively by bigots and homophobes with ill intentions.** From the other side, I'll be criticized for irresponsibly kindling the already raging fires by providing fresh fodder. I've already battled it out on the radio with Robert Peters from Morality in the Media, who appeared to have a peculiar fixation on the penis. (Hopefully not mine), and Concerned Women for America called me an obscene pornographer or something to that effect in one of their polemic press releases. So let me give them what they really want to hear. As if James Dobson needs anything more – in his book Marriage Under Fire, he posits the theory that homosexuals don’t really want to get married, but in fact are plotting a 60 year conspiracy to destroy the family. Fucking idiot. It’s a ten year plan!
** As predicted, Matt Barber, (the gender-confused man of Concerned Women for America) who clearly doesn't understand satire any more than he does his fascination with homosexuality, had this to say about me in his article "Unmasking the Gay Agenda": "Such stark examples of homofascist persecution continue to mount. And they're by design. Noted homosexual activist and pornographer Clinton Fein addressed the 'gay' agenda in a 2005 article candidly titled, "The Gay Agenda".
Barber's attack on poor, innocent moi was syndicated, appearing everywhere from CWFA, Renew America, catholic.org, Christian Worldview Network, Free Republic, MichNews etc. Deatils about Barber's attack can be found on my blog Pointing Fingers: A Gay Agenda and Concerned Women.
Another attack came from one of Barber's ilk (those whose every waking moment and recurring wet dream is consumed with the evils of homosexuality), Peter LaBarbera, President of an organization predicated on hate and lies ironically named Americans for Truth About Homosexuality, a national organization "devoted exclusively to exposing and countering the homosexual activist agenda." In a sweetly titled article, 'Queer' Quotes: Hating Jesus, and Selfishness Redefined, Peter claims he can "feel my hate," (I wonder where he feels it) and warns he is listening and watching. Among LaBarbera's gems:
"Check out this particularly nasty screed, 'The Gay Agenda,' by pro-homosexuals-in-the-military activist Clinton Fein -- which a friend sent us after seeing it on another wicked 'gay' blog...Though Fein is spoofing conservative Christians (we're feeling your hate, Clinton), I find Points 5 and 11 in his 35-point 'Gay Agenda' the most telling..." and
We'll leave Point 5 to the Lord to deal with, as one day poor Clinton will have to answer to Him, anyway.
And while LaBarbera at least recognized my Gay Agenda was a spoof, he couldn't resist: "we know Fein is not kidding on that one." (See his demented diatribe in its entirety for yourself.)

Propaganda is and has always been a dangerous tool, especially when it is being used in the name of God. When God and the Bible (and the Quran, and the Book of Mormon) are being used as a club to beat people with, justice is raped and fairness ceases to exist. No one has the right to decide anything for you unless you make that choice for yourself to allow such a thing. I am never going to stand for anyone dictating what is or is not appropriate for me, least of all someone who appoints themselves as a spokesperson for an imaginary sky fairy I don't even believe exists.
So to all of you, likeminded people and not - gay, straight, faithful, faithless, questioning, whatever - understand something. I am an American, goddamnit. A big gay one. I need no one's approval or permission to be who I am, and that includes loving intensely, fucking passionately, or saying whatever the bloody fuck I feel like saying. If you don't like it, seek therapy. I support your right to say whatever misguided, rhetorical bullshit you want to say, but do not think for a single second that any of it is taken seriously. And I encourage anyone that listens to you to do the same, because the truth is you speak for no one but yourselves and if there really were any such thing as God then you are all completely fucked.
The rise of the homosexual movement is a textbook example of societal amorality devolving into societal immorality. The rationale behind societal amorality is the myopic question: "How does my immoral behavior hurt you?" The answer is: It may not, in the short term. But when society sanctions your immoral behavior, that does hurt me. If millions of people accept the deviant as normal, that reshapes society in vastly destructive ways. Your moral self-destruction may have no consequences for me, but destruction of societal standards always has consequences.
When the stigma left single motherhood, society felt the sting in rising rates of single motherhood and juvenile crime. When the stigma left sexual licentiousness, society felt the sting in rising rates of teen pregnancy, sexually transmitted disease, emotional emptiness and nihilism. Your immoral personal behavior may not affect me, but exempting your immoral behavior from societal scrutiny certainly does. A society without standards is an unhappy, unhealthy society -- a society with no future. And all of us have to live in that society.
